I have to say that I was completely outraged when I read this. I mean come on, he doesn't have to like it or congratulate them but openly saying he finds their relationship is definitely crossing the line in my book!
Former Heroes star Thomas Dekker has lashed out at ex-castmate Milo Ventimiglia for dating pretty teen Hayden Panettiere, calling the romance ‘gross’. Dekker, who is now the star of Terminator TV spin-off The Sarah Connor Chronicles, played 18-year-old Panettiere’s best friend in the first season of the sci-fi phenomenon. And he can’t believe 30-year-old Ventimiglia is dating a girl almost half his age. The outraged actor tells US magazine Life and Style, “I think it’s gross, to be perfectly honest. It’s kind of like if I were dating a 12-year-old!”

The WGA strike is now officially over, but there's no word yet whether or not Heroes is coming back this season. But it doesn't look good. This is what Kristin from E! Online said:
"Though an official decision has not yet been made, the most likely scenario is that Heroes will not return to our small screens until this fall. We've heard from a few crew members that they have been told that they are not likely to return to set this season. Word is, the writers want a bit of breathing room to get the storyline up and running. Stay tuned on this one..."

Heroes blondie Hayden Panettiere will be starring with Kieran Culkin in Daydream Nation, described in The Hollywood Reporter as "a teenage comedy." She is the somewhat bitchy girl, and he is her dummy boyfriend. (And Milo Ventimiglia is the guy standing five feet offscreen during every kissing scene, doing his best Sylvester Stallone impersonation and scowling.) My only hesitation is the use of the word daydream, which conjures up thoughts of the highly irritating band the Monkeys. Other than that, sounds okay—especially because producers are going more for quirky-smart Election than dopey-candy Bratz. Plus, Culkin won me over for good in Igby Goes Down, a movie that a lot of people, as it happens, find highly irritating. But of course, people are stupid. It feels like I write about Hayden taking on some new movie every single week. Hmmm, I wonder if somebody is, like, dying to escape superhero TV land and become a movie star. Ya think? [SOURCE]

As we have reported in the past Hayden was nominated for AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2008. And she scored number 51. That's a pretty respectable place. You can view her profile here

Hayden Panettiere made a splash Sunday at a downtown Washington, D.C., demonstration that called for a stop to whale hunting. The 18-year-old Heroes star, speaking without notes, told the crowd, "Not only are these animals being cruelly slaughtered, the meat is contaminated by huge levels of mercury," reports The Washington Post's Reliable Source column, which likened the Heroes star to a latter-day Jane Fonda – though less politically controversial. Continued Panettiere at the rally: "And we're not taking a stand because Japan is one of our biggest allies in the war on terror, but Australia is an ally and they've told Japan what they think, and good on them!" Huge Animal Lover'Panettiere told PEOPLE she's a "huge animal lover. I don't trust people who don't love animals. I've got two dogs at home, Penny Lane and Madison. They're both rescue [dogs], so they're mutts. And I have a cat, Raleigh. I pulled him out from behind the dryer when I was 12. He had his foot stuck in a pipe and I pulled him out." As for her confronting Japanese fisherman last fall, to protest the killing of dolphins – the incident let to a warrant for her arrest – Panettiere told the crowd at the rally: "I was wearing a wetsuit and shoes. I was like if I'm going to jail I ain’t going to jail in a bikini." Panettiere, spokesperson for the Save the Whales Again! Campaign, added: "At one point this baby [dolphin] popped its head up and looked at me. To know what was going to happen and to know that I couldn't stop it is just such a helpless feeling. To Visit EmbassiesFar from helpless, Panettiere is taking her campaign on Monday to the embassies of Iceland, Norway and Japan. She also has a Web site, Panettiere's Closet, that makes available the clothing and accessories from her show. "All the money goes to the Whaleman Foundation," she says. "Tons of cute clothes on there." [SOURCE]

Panettiere will be leading a rally against a resumption of commercial whaling at 1pm this Sunday, January 27th in Washington D.C.’s Dupont Circle. She’ll also be speaking with policymakers and students to encourage increased whale protection. She told press, “Whales face increasing threats from climate change, ship strikes, entanglement in nets, and chemical and noise pollution, yet Japan, Norway and Iceland continue to kill them in increasing numbers. I am looking forward to talking with officials who actually make and carry out our policies, as well as fellow young people who will be voting in the upcoming election—I want our voice to be heard.” [SOURCE]
